Customized Services

It is recommended that seminars and workshops be customized to the special needs of your organization, in the following ways:

  • Pre-Workshop Site Visit and Planning Meeting: Sue Stebbins will come to your office to discuss the stress management needs of your organization, in order to plan the most effective program for you.
  • Pre-Workshop Stress Audit: about two weeks prior to the workshop, participants are asked to complete an anonymous questionnaire about their stress symptoms and their sources of stress. The results of these questionnaires, which are kept confidential, are tabulated by Sue Stebbins and used to tailor the workshop to the exact needs of the participants.
  • Post-Workshop Report: a summary of the results of the Stress Audit is provided, along with specific recommendations for maintaining participants’ Stress Management skills for ongoing reduction of stress in the workplace.
  • Follow-Up & Booster Training Sessions

Training the Trainer

While the role of Human Resource and Occupational Health staff can include the responsibility of helping employees deal with stress, their training in this can be limited. Specialized training programs are available to train staff to teach practical stress management and relaxation techniques to employees. (This is not training in counseling.)
